EASTHAMPTON — Two cars collided near 77 Northampton St. on Sunday night with one of the vehicles catching fire. No injuries were reported.

According to the Easthampton Fire Department, firefighters responded to the crash at about 7 p.m. and found that the occupants of both cars had exited the vehicles safely.  Under the command of Fire Capt. Sean O’Leary, the crews used a hose line to extinguish the blaze. 

The car that had caught fire was secured and later towed from the scene. All vehicle occupants were evaluated and given medical assessments by paramedics, according to the fire department.
