Four student-athletes from Granby signed their National Letters of Intent on Friday inside the Granby High School cafeteria. Nathan Benson, Maggie Crawford, Quinlin Cook and Tristan Moe will all continue their academic and athletic careers in college following graduation.

Benson starred for the Rams’ wrestling team for six years and surpassed 100 career wins on the mat this past winter. Benson will attend Vermont State University-Castleton next fall as part of the wrestling team.

Crawford ran for South Hadley’s indoor track and field team (as part of a co-op) the past two years and set multiple school records in hurdles events. Crawford will enroll at Saint Michael’s College in Vermont next year.

Cook was a captain of the Rams’ cross country team as a three-year member of the squad, plus ran indoor and outdoor track for the Tigers the past two years. Cook will join the Westfield State cross country and track teams next fall.

Moe was a longtime member of the boys lacrosse team (six years) where he served as captain the previous four years and helped lead the Rams to consecutive Suburban League championships. Moe signed with the University of New England in Maine to further his lacrosse career.
