Andy Morris-Friedman submitted this photo of local beets from the Winter Farmers Market at Hampshire Mall. He said he was preparing the beets for a pot luck when the sun came out and flooded his work space. The light “made the colors come alive,” according to Morris-Friedman, who noted they were delicious with Holyoke Hummus.
