Instead of adding more bike paths that will need to be maintained, how about maintaining the roads for the existing designated routes? The South Street route is more treacherous than ever. Giant potholes and debris make riding (and driving ) more like navigating a slalom course. To travel safely along South Street requires bikers to veer out of the bike lane, which is no longer clearly marked. Please: Paint it green, and like other designated routes in town. erect more signs, pave or at least do a great job patching, and sweep before a bike rider goes flying!
