Susan Grant: Unelected rich guys to decide what services our government provides to us?

Let me get this straight: two rich guys, Vivek Ramaswamy and Elon Musk, unelected and acting under the cover of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), which sounds like a government agency that is actually fake, are going to determine which federal services will be available to us and which should be cut back or even eliminated? This would undoubtedly serve their business interests, but it wouldn't serve our interests. Just the opposite — we would have fewer protections for our health, financial well-being, and security; we would no longer have government assistance to help us go to college, start businesses, and buy homes; and we'd have a much more unjust society, with the weaker (lower-income people, the elderly, those with physical and mental disabilities, minorities, children) simply brushed aside. This is not the society that Americans, even most Trump supporters, voted for. There should be an uproar, and real government officials who are or will be accountable to us had better listen.
