NORTHAMPTON — Traffic on Interstate 91 through Northampton will be constricted this week as Massachusetts Department of Transportation crews work on road and bridge repairs.

One northbound lane and one southbound lane will be closed between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., according to a news release.

“Drivers who are traveling through the affected areas should expect delays, reduce speed and use caution,” the release said. “Travel time information for destinations along I-91 in the project area is available on MassDOT’s roadside GoTime message boards along I-91 northbound in Holyoke and I-91 southbound in Deerfield.”

The department added: “All scheduled work is weather-dependent and subject to change without notice.”
