Less than a week after the Boston College men’s basketball team dropped out of the 2024 Naismith Hall of Fame Basketball Showcase, the final spot for the three-team round-robin tournament has been filled by another Atlantic Coast Conference program.

The Hall of Fame announced in a press release on Wednesday afternoon that Florida State will take the Eagles’ spot, joining UMass and Temple in an east-coast clash at Mohegan Sun in late November.

While tip times have yet to be decided, the schedule of the event is officially set – securing UMass its first Power 6 opponent in its non-conference slate. On Friday, Nov. 22, the Minutemen will take a back seat to watch the Seminoles and Owls play in Game 1 of the tournament. UMass then plays Temple the next day, followed by a matchup with Florida State that Sunday.

All games are held at Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Conn., and tickets go on sale starting Friday, Sept. 6.
